On the surface, Sharla Taylor may appear outspoken and upfront, but there is so much more than meets the eye.  Sharla is actually a social worker at heart and strives to help individuals meet their full potential.  If you are looking for resources or just need a listening and confidential ear, then Sharla is the woman to call.  Sharla loves her work and is passionate about what she feels is her calling – to help others along the way.

Born and raised in Ellenwood, Georgia, Sharla is family-oriented and values the family dynamics.  Even in her spare time she is with family if she is not engaged in a good book or traveling to the beach.  Sharla is a woman who strives to be her best, do her best, and see the best.  As a spiritual woman and a woman of faith, Sharla wants nothing more than to be who God has called her to be.

Sharla holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a Master of Public Administration and works for local government.  She works with individuals who suffer with mental illness and her ultimate goal is to “decriminalize mental illness by offering treatment instead of incarceration.”  By doing so, individuals will receive the necessary care needed to become productive citizens.
